Inca Trail & Machu Picchu, Peru Vlog πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ͺ

inca trail vlog

Hey! I’m back with another vlog and this time I’m doing the Inca Trail in Peru!

Strenuous. Tough. Rewarding. The 4 day Inca Trail hike takes you past stunning Peru scenery, ending at infamous Incan ruins, Machu Picchu.

Definitely one of the most challenging hikes I’ve ever done!

It’s been a dream to walk to Machu Picchu as my Pop (Grandad) did a long time ago. It still feels dreamlike that I’ve been there. I was so knackered from the 4 day and 42km trail, when I finally got to Machu Picchu!

The trail is one of the most popular hikes in the world, and for good reason. It’s an incredible way to see some of the most stunning scenery that Peru has to offer. The highlight of course is the end destination, the world famous, ancient Incan city of Machu Picchu.

Machu Picchu is a 15th-century Inca citadel, located in the Southern Sierra mountain range in Peru. It is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, and was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.

This hike is not for the faint of heart, though. Be prepared for a lot of uphill walking, challenging pathways, and some tough moments. But trust me, it’s all worth it in the end!
