My name is Ren, proud mum to my little adventurer, Kaydes, and we live in beautiful Wellington, New Zealand. Our days are a mix of exploring, playing, and cozy moments with our cat, Theodore. My love for travel began in childhood, with unforgettable trips alongside my mum that sparked a lifelong passion for exploring. Over the years, that passion turned into solo adventures, spontaneous road trips, and even using guests’ initials as airport codes for wedding place cards! After a mutual parting, my best little travel +1 is now by my side, and we love discovering new places. From hidden gems close to home, to far-off destinations we’ve been dreaming of.
Since Kaydes was born, we’ve explored 15 countries together so far. From hiking to breathtaking alpine lakes in Switzerland with her on my back, tossing stones into Seattle’s shores, spinning in teacups at Disneyland Paris, to watching turtles glide through the crystal-clear waters of New Caledonia and Bali – every journey has been an adventure of its own!
