A few years ago, I used to be thrilled (and a touch scared) to travel the world solo. Now, I have a small-sized +1, my daughter Kaydes, and I love showing her parts of the world whenever possible. I can’t wait until she can start blogging about her travels here herself!
Travelling solo with children can be daunting, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. I’m a total solo parent travel convert! From navigating airports with just a carry-on to discovering kid-friendly destinations, I’ve faced many challenges and made countless unforgettable memories. Through this blog, I aim to help other solo parents embark on their own adventures with confidence and joy.

Our Solo Trip Experience
As of June 2024, Kaydes and I have been on 35+ flights together, domestic and international. Pretty good for a 2 year old!
I’ve travelled and flown with her since she was only a couple months old, so I think she’s had an early advantage.
One of the best trips we’ve taken together, was a month around North America & a bit of Western Europe in 2023, with just a carry-on between us (+ this wonderful pram). I remember planning it months out, and working out the best places for us to go, and the best ways to ensure she felt safe and happy.
We made it through with lots of playgrounds fitted in, amazing things to see, good food and good company. That trip taught us invaluable lessons that I’m looking forward to sharing with you.
