Amazon & Lake Titicaca, Peru Vlog πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ͺ

peru amazon vlog

Peru has been amazing to visit, and I have captured some of my travel highlights in a vlog below.

After visiting Santiago, Chile’s capital city, I flew to another capital city ➡ Lima, Peru.  I didn’t spend very much time in the city and to be honest, it didn’t look all too appealing. However, I was really impressed with the Magic Water Circuit there.

After staying the one night in Lima, I hopped on another plane to Puerto Maldonado. Here I visited Peru’s region of the Amazon, more specifically at Tambopata National Reserve. I spent a number of glorious days being shown around Lake Sandoval, and stayed in a basic, but comfortable lodge near the lake.

The Amazon is the world’s largest rainforest and is home to a huge variety of plant and animal life. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many animals in their natural habitats. Especially howler monkeys, macaws, giant river otters, butterflies, etc.

Next I spent some time at Lake Titicaca.  The lake is the world’s highest navigable lake and is a popular spot for swimming, fishing, and boating. I stayed a night with a local family on one of Lake Titicaca’s islands.
