Santiago de Chile Vlog 🇨🇱

santiago vlog

I have arrived in South America! 😬🎉

More specifically in Santiago de Chile, which is both the capital, and largest city in Chile.

The city has a population of around 7 million people. Santiago is surrounded by four large mountain ranges: the Andes on the east, Coast Range on the west, Cordillera de la Costa on the north and the Cordillera Oriental on the south. It also has a few rivers flowing through it including; the Mapocho, Maipo and the Rapel.

Santiago de Chile is one of South America‘s most modern cities, with a thriving economy and a rich cultural life. It is also one of the safest and most orderly capitals on the continent. I have certainly felt safe exploring around in the city, and enjoyed many of its parks and green spaces.

The central area of Santiago is home to most of the city’s financial and cultural institutions, as well as its busiest shopping districts. The historic center is relatively compact and can be easily explored on foot.

Sky Costanera has a wonderful observation deck to take in views over Santiago. And just outside the CBD is Cerro San Cristóbal, a hill that also offers terrific views. This is one of the best places in the city to get some exercise! (hint: watch vlog! 😂) and escape the hustle and bustle for a bit.

Enjoy seeing Santiago with me in the vlog below x
