Around 9-10 months ago, I was working in Alice Springs when I had a quick chat with my good friend Tracey in New Zealand.
I offered her the chance to join me for part of my travels, maybe around the USA for 6 weeks towards the end of my trip since she’d been there before. After thinking it over for a couple of weeks, she video called me again.
She held up a sign saying ‘I Am’ …woohoo!
Then another saying ‘Not Going‘ …ohhh no! “That’s okay, Tracey,” I said.
But then she followed that with ‘To be at Work for 6 Weeks!!!’ …and that’s when the excited screaming and squealing started! What a tease, but what an awesome surprise!
Travelling Friends
So, in April and May 2016, we embarked on a whirlwind adventure around parts of the USA and a bit of Canada. We had an absolute blast traveling together for six weeks.
We even made a couple of fun lip sync music videos from our travels, which you can check out below.
The first one features us lip syncing to ‘Empire State of Mind’ by Jay-Z. We filmed this in various iconic spots in New York, including Liberty Island and Times Square, where we had people filming us because they thought we were famous! 😂
The second lip sync video is to ‘Everywhere You Go’, aka the Full House theme song. We filmed this in different spots around San Francisco and Yosemite.
The last one is ‘I Gotta Feeling’ by The Black Eyed Peas, which includes clips from most of the places we visited during our North American adventure. We hope you enjoy watching these videos as much as we enjoyed making them!
