I booked a flight to South America!

Qantas website of my booked flight to Santiago, Chile

So great news… Last night, amid extreme excitement and nervousness, I booked a flight to South America!

I can’t believe it!

What started earlier this year as an idea to travel around South America, up to Central America, then up to the USA and Canada. It has been made more real, by booking the flight that’s for sure!!

So in 202 days from today, on December 8, I will fly from Sydney to Santiago!

It only took 48,000 Qantas points, $368 and 10 minutes to book!

I think when you book a flight to South America, you’re going to be in for an adventure! But with such a huge continent to explore, where to start?

So I’ve been really nerding out on the Lonely Planet books, and researching different places. I feel like I’ve got a pretty good handle on my itinerary so far.  I’m totally up for this challenge!

I will keep you guys posted on my travel plans and news, as I go along. I’m going to be spend time in Chile, Argentina, Brazil and more countries. I can’t wait to explore everything that each of these places have to offer! I’m really looking forward to trying out new food, seeing the sights, and meeting new people.

This week I’m planning and booking more places, mainly in Peru, as that’s where I’m planning to be in December.
